Boggs Signs with The University
of West Georgia
March 2010:
Carrollton, GA
- The early signing period for
collegiate volleyball signees has ended
and UWG head coach Gary Lee
announced the signing of three high
school standouts who will join the
Wolves’ roster in 2010.
“Each
of these young women brings something
new to the fold,” said Lee. “We expect
them to be the type of players who can
make an immediate impact on the court
for us.”
The 2010 recruiting class through the
early signing period features players
from both coasts.
Reagin Boggs of
Loganville and Mandy Black
of Dallas are Georgia standouts and
Emily Reul comes to
Carrollton by way of San Bernardino, CA.
Lee and his new recruits will look to
return West Georgia to prominence in the
rugged Gulf South Conference East
Division in 2010.
The
Wolves’ last trip to the conference
tournament was in 2007, winning the GSC
and advancing to the South Regional.
“We are truly looking to build
the program here from the ground up,”
Lee said.
“If we can continue to sign the
caliber of players that we have this
fall, things will definitely move in a
positive direction for the program.”
